My submission for Ridley Scott's 'Parallel Lines' short film contest. Contestants were limited to using 6 lines of dialogue that were given, and developing a short story around that. The main concept for my film involved a filmmaker who is screening his film for a potential buyer. Things don't turn out well.
I didn't end up winning anything for the contest, and it's hard for me to watch the film now because of how blunt and unsophisticated it feels. But I think a lot of what I did, I ended up learning from and it has helped me to slowly improve things on future projects.
